Calculation methods and released scope
Calculations, traditional interpretations and public release are separate. Production approval applies to specific tested capabilities and limits, not every astrology feature.
Current production calculations
The authenticated calculation service runs on Google Cloud Run using the approved Astronomy Engine-based infrastructure and separately validated methods. Hostinger runs the PHP application and PHP-local Numerology. Production calculation infrastructure is certified for its bounded released scope; it is not awaiting a blanket first provider approval.
Public chart scope
The released Western factual chart includes Tropical positions, Ascendant/MC, Whole Sign or Equal houses and approved major aspects. Public Vedic output is the approved planetary D1/D9 and mean-node subset, not Lagna-based houses or a complete Panchangam. Drik calculation foundations do not authorize Vakkiya or other unreleased methods. Life Insights are limited to the existing reviewed Western factors; they are not a complete synthesis or prediction.
Daily timings
Daily timings use the selected location, IANA timezone, local date and sunrise/sunset calculations, with weekday daylight divisions for Rahu Kalam, Yamagandam and Gulikai, and planetary-hour sequencing for Hora/Orai. Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana and Nalla Neram remain unavailable publicly. Historical civil-time ambiguity and unknown birth time are handled within existing calculation gates, not guessed away.
Numerology
Pythagorean Numerology V1 maps A/J/S to 1 through I/R to 9, preserves 11, 22 and 33 when encountered in the core reduction chain, and reduces Personal Year/Month/Day to 1-9. A/E/I/O/U are vowels; Y is a consonant. Names use the supported English-letter mapping, not Tamil Unicode values. Numbers and arithmetic are separate from traditional meanings and from astrology calculations.
Validation and limits
Released components have bounded reference tests and review evidence. Results retain method/version information where supplied. Certification of calculation or presentation scope is not scientific validation of traditional predictions. Broader Vedic meanings, public timing interpretation, AI guidance and other unreleased features remain gated. Input and historical-timezone uncertainty can restrict results.
